FlaxGiving exists to restore spontaneous generosity in a cashless society. FlaxLab is rebuilding a simple human interaction that is disappearing as cash usage declines.
By enabling secure, direct digital giving through physical tokens, we are ensuring that individuals experiencing homelessness are not excluded from the economy of kindness.
Mission: FlaxGiving restores human connection by making digital giving feel as simple as handing someone a five-dollar bill. We do this by separating the technology from the recipient. Our system uses secure hardware to ensure that a lack of cash does not equal a lack of giving.

The Recipient Necklace (Passive)
Zero-powered, permanent tool for receiving aid without any technical maintenance.
The Giver Keychain (Active)
Battery-powered device linked to your FlaxGiving account to set your Tap Value.
Workflow
The Setup: Donor links a tactile keychain to their FlaxGiving account and sets a “Tap Value”. We recommend an amount between $5-$8. This programs the keychain to act as a valve that only releases the “Tap Value” per tap.
The Handshake: To give a donation you tap your keychain to a necklace. The keychain uses a small internal battery to send a secure signal to our ledger. This instantly moves your pre-set amount from your account to that specific necklace ID. One tap equals one act of support.
The Access: The necklace acts as a digital key for the person who receives it. The necklaces utilize standard tap to pay technology, they can redeem the support at any FlaxPartner location. They simply tap the necklace at the register to pay.
